Models Needed for Red Ball 2026

Step into Denver’s most anticipated cultural event of the year—Red Ball 2026: War of the Roses, where fashion meets advocacy in a dazzling celebration of creativity that ignites awareness for World AIDS Day

Celebrating its 18th anniversary, Red Ball unites Denver’s vibrant fashion, art, and performance communities for one night only. Expect a jaw-dropping fusion of high fashion, electrifying dance, mesmerizing live performances, and live music.

GenDEN is seeking LGBTQIA+ youth (ages 6–16) to model in this year’s "Blooming With Pride" affirmation collection. This line tells the story of a rose moving from a solid red bud to a vibrant rainbow rose in full bloom, mirroring the journey of self-discovery to the confidence of sharing your true self with the world around you.

Key Requirements & Commitments

  • Fittings & Availability: Flexible schedule, but models must be available for at least 2 fitting sessions with the designer.

  • Mandatory Meetings & Rehearsals (Downtown Denver, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM):

    • Full Cast Meeting: Tuesday, Oct. 27

    • GenDEN Rehearsal: Date TBD (between Oct. 27 and Nov. 20)

    • Final Dress Rehearsal: Friday, Nov. 20

  • Show Day Experience (Sunday, Nov. 22):

    • Full-day commitment at the venue for rehearsals, hair, makeup, and photos.

    • The environment involves high noise levels, dynamic lighting, and backstage commotion, including many models in various stages of dress.

    • Due to strict backstage space limits, only one parent or guardian may remain backstage with each child.

  • Runway Walk:

    • Models will walk on an elevated runway in front of approximately 400 attendees.

    • The fashion show runs from roughly 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM (exact walk times assigned closer to the event).

We encourage any families with children who are interested in participating to review the photo slide shows so you have a clearer idea of what modeling in this show entails.

Model selection will be based on need and availability. All potential models will be notified by Oct. 1st of selection to the show. To express your interest in modeling or to find out more information please fill out the model interest form.
